HAZMAT Fantasy

Primordial soup. The prehistoric substance that fueled the creation of life as we know it. In present times, this mystical concoction has become the cradle of inexplicable phenomena. Beautiful curses. Violent miracles.

HAZMAT Fantasy is a fictional setting intended for use in tabletop roleplaying games. It exists independently from any specific roleplaying ruleset. It is primarily a science fantasy setting inspired by various sci-fi and fantasy media, such as Fallout, Dark Sun, STALKER, and Shadowrun.

In the world of HAZMAT Fantasy, a chaotic substance called "Primordial Soup" has fundamentally changed Europe: it has tainted natural rivers, causing wildlife to grow rapidly and reconquer much of the continent, while the population itself has become divided amongst those who have been gifted powers by the Soup and those who haven't.

No one really understands how the Primordial Soup works, the line between science and faith has been irreversibly blurred and now a variety of factions (both inside and outside Europe) vie for control.
